   Kindergarten News

        December 13 - January 2

         We are almost to the Christmas Break and your children are excited, what a fun time of the year.  I love the excitement of your children, THANKS for sharing them with me.  Please have a fun and safe HOLIDAY!!  We will see you next year!!!        

Just another reminder we are working on a special Christmas Gift for our Families.  The cost of the gift will be $1.50.  If your child could do some extra chores around the house, to help me pay for the gift that would be great.  Each child WILL make one, but this could be an excellent way for your child to learn the true spirit of giving!!!        

Please send the donation to school THIS WEEK!!!             Thank You!!!

Things to Know.....

         *    TOMORROW is EARLY- OUT, class time  8:55 to 10:55!!!

         *   On Friday, the last day before we go on break we are going to make

 Gingerbread Houses!!  Would you please send a SMALL personal sized

bag of candy to decorate our houses with!!  

  (Red Hots. M&M’s. Gun Drops, Skittles etc...)

*         We will not be having CENTERS   on  THURSDAY or FRIDAY   this week!!                                                                                                            Please have a day off and we will be right back to work as usual on January2nd!!

      I have a few mothers who have had a change in schedules, if you are willing or can change days

                                             PLEASE let me know!!!!

*     November Skills Sheet, Golden Sneaker and the Reading Record are    

      now PAST DUE!!!! Record your child’s progress, sign and return.

·             Christmas Holiday

 Will start  December  17th   NO SCHOOL

              See you back on  Monday, January 2nd!!

HOMEWORK

             Homework over the Christmas Holiday is to   READ!   READ!!   READ!!!   Remember to mark your Reading Record, all of your calendars will be due when we come back!  Also, PRACTICE THOSES SIGHT WORDS!!  We need to know 10 for the Kindergarten Assessment in January!!

We will be making a special Christmas present for you!!  You will LOVE it!! To help me

with the cost of the present would you please help your child earn $1.50 to donate for the gift.  Please have them do extra chores around the house, we will be talking about earning money and buying presents for our family!!  If you could please send  it no later than Friday, December 9th that would be helpful!!!         THANKS for your help!!!

       This weeks homework is attached.   Keep working on last names….. I’m starting to see lots of students getting it down!!! Start with a capitol and the rest lower case!!   We all need to be able to write our last names for our next Kindergarten Assessment!!  

               Sign and return to school on or before Friday!

      Some students are starting on their Sight Word Homework!!  Please practice those so they are automatic (no hesitation)!!  In the coming weeks everyone will start on Sight Word homework !!  WATCH FOR IT!!!

Kindergarten News

November 15 - 29

            Now that the weather is changing please make sure that your child has a coat and is dressed warmly!!  We will be taking short breaks, to get some fresh air, even when it’s cold outside!!!

THINGS TO KNOW

*               EARLY OUT WEDNESDAY!!                           

               Class time 8:55 until 10:55!

*   November book orders have been sent off.  They usually take about a week to return!!      THANK YOU for your orders!!!   

                                      

o  Thanksgiving Holiday will be November 23, 24, and 25!                                                Have a fun and save holiday!!

o   There will be not homework next week because of the break have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!!!  Remember to read everyday and practice writing your last name without any help!!

Kindergarten News

November 8 - 15

            WOW!!!   We are so busy in the learning of KINDERGARTEN!!   We are just moving right along.  It is so fun to watch each child grow and learn.   I am amazed at how well we are doing!!  This is a SMART class of children.  Thank you for your support at home and in our classroom.  It has been a long time since I have had this much support.   Thank you for showing your children that school and learning in important!!!

v November book orders were attached last week if you are interested in ordering!!  This order will not be back before Thanksgiving and will be the last order I can promise that will be back before Christmas.   So, if you are thinking about books for Christmas there are some great ones this time!!!  Please have your orders in by TOMORROW WED., NOV. 9^th  THANK YOU!!!
