Kindergarten News
November 27- December 4
We will be making a special Christmas present for you!!  You will LOVE it! To help me
with the cost of the present would you please help your child earn $1.50 to donate for the gift.  Please have them do extra chores around the house, we will be talking about earning money and buying presents for our family!!  If you could please send  it no later than Friday, December 14th that would be helpful!!!        
                                                     THANKS for your help!!!

THINGS TO KNOW
         *    TOMORROW is EARLY- OUT, class time  8:55 to 10:55!!!

         *         The LAST week before we go to Christmas Break we will be making,
Gingerbread Houses!!  Would you please send a SMALL personal sized       
  bag of candy to decorate our houses with!!  
 (Red Hots. M&M’s. Gun Drops, Skittles etc...)

*     November Skills Sheet and the Reading Record are    
                          DUE Friday!!
Record your child’s progress, sign and return·   
        
Christmas Holiday will begin December22nd  NO SCHOOL!!
              We will start back NEXT  YEAR!!   January 7, 2013.

·             AR assemble, Friday, November 30th , @ 10:00, you are invited to attend!

*            Book Orders will be due Next Wednesday, December 5th.  If we
                   get them out soon they should return before Christmas!!

HOMEWORK
             This weeks homework is to learn and practice our LAST NAMES!  Please help your child to know how to do this without any help.  Also, I sent home in your child’s homework folder a GINGERBREAD MAN!!  Please decorate it any way you want and return.  You could put clothes on it, use candy, cereal, noodles etc….  Just have fun!!! 
                           DUE  BY FRIDAY!!!!
            Some students are starting on their Sight Word Homework!!  Please practice those so they are automatic (no hesitation)!!  In the coming weeks everyone will start on Sight Word homework !!  WATCH FOR IT!!!

  Kindergarten News
November 13-27
            Now that the weather is changing please make sure that your child has a coat and is dressed warmly!!  We will be taking short breaks, to get some fresh air, even when it’s cold outside!!!

               Class time 8:55 until 10:55!

November book orders will be sent tomorrow.  They usually take 7-10 days to return!!  THANK YOU for your orders!!!                                         
o  Thanksgiving Holiday will be November 21, 22 and 23!                                                Have a fun and save holiday!!

o   There will be not homework next week because of the break have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!!!  Remember to read everyday and practice writing your last name without any help!!

Our Election Results..............

Kindergarten News
November 6-13
            WOW!!!   We are so busy in the learning of KINDERGARTEN!!   We are just moving right along.  It is so fun to watch each child grow and learn.   I am amazed at how well we are doing!!  This is a SMART class of children.  Thank you for your support at home and in our classroom. Thank you for showing your children that school and learning in important!!!

•   November book orders are in your child’s homework folder if you are interested in ordering!!  This order will not be back before Thanksgiving and will be the last order I can promise that will be back before Christmas.   So, if you are thinking about books for Christmas there are some great ones this time!!!  Please have your orders in by Wednesday, November 14th  THANK YOU!!! 

*    Remember that the October              Skills Sheet and October Reading Record are now due!!  You will find new November Calendars in your child’s homework folder this week!!
