October 30 - November 6

            This week in your child’s homework folder you will find an “end of quarter” progress report.  Please take a minute and look over your child’s attendance, homework assignments and citizenship!!   PLEASE SIGN AND RETURN!!

             Please note that class starts promptly at 8:55 and we start class at 8:55.  Please make sure your child is here on time.  I am having a lot of students coming to school late and they are missing out on important classroom and individual instruction time!  PLEASE get here ON TIME!!!!

            Our field trip on Friday was wonderful!!!  THANK YOU  SUU, we were able to see many new and exciting things.

Dear Parents,

 

We are in desperate need of help for our Halloween Carnival.  We are trying some new things this year and for our biggest fundraiser of the year to succeed we could really use any help we could get.  The carnival will be Sat.  Oct. 27th from 11-3.  It will be outdoors, (weather permitting).  We will have bounce houses, carnival games, face painting, and animal balloons. We will have booths for cotton candy, carmel apples, and barbequing hotdogs, and having a chili cook off. 

 

We need help setting up before the event at 8:30 am, and taking stuff down after 3 pm. 

We need help with game booths, as well as food booths. 

We need help with the barbeque. 

We need people to bring their favorite chili.  All entries have chance to win a prize (dinner for 2 at Garden House). 

We also have a lot of candy that needs to be bagged the day before the event. 

 

We know it will be busy that day with a lot going on around the community. Every little bit of help is greatly appreciated. 

If you can help with any part of our carnival please email me back.  Spread the word as well.  This event is open to the whole community.  Thank you very much.

            Boy!  We have sure been busy the past few weeks!!  We have had lots of fun field trips.  We have had so much fun and are learning about being safe on the school bus.  We are learning about how pumpkins grow and had fun picking the perfect one to take home. 

            Remember our FIELD TRIP on Friday, October 26th,  PLEASE BRING A JACKET and dress for the weather incase it is cold. WE WILL BE WALKING TO SUU.   If you have not sent your permission slip,  please do so ASAP!!!!  This will probably be our last one before it is to cold!!:(

Dear Parents,

 We just got off of the phone with the pumpkin patch and  they are MUDDY!!  So, we have decided to postpone the Pumpkin Patch Field Trip to MONDAY!!  The weather is looking better then!  So,  plan on Monday.  Please remember to dress warm and we will just plan for an exciting Monday!

            Today is our BUS Safety Field Trip!  This one of my favorite field trips of the year!!  Ask your child about what happened on our visit to the bus garage!!
