November 19^th – December 3^rd

            PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

Now that the weather is changing please make sure that your child has a coat and is dressed warmly!!  We will be taking short breaks, to get some fresh air, even when it’s cold outside!!!

THINGS TO KNOW

Ø EARLY OUT WEDNESDAY!!                                                         

               Class time 8:55 until 10:55!

v November book orders have been sent off.  They usually take about a week to return!!  THANK YOU for your orders!!!                                                                  

o      Thanksgiving Holiday will be November 27,28, , and 29!                            Have a fun and save holiday!!

o   There will be not homework next week because of the break have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!!!  Remember to read everyday and practice writing your last name without any help!!

*          AR assemble, Friday, November 22nd , you are invited to attend!

HOMEWORK
            This weeks homework is attached. Also please make sure that your child is working on writing their LAST NAME  Make sure your child starts at the top when forming the letters in their last name.    Start with a capitol and the rest lower case!!   We all need to be able to write our last names for our next Kindergarten Assessment!!  

           Sign and return to school on or before Friday!

HOMEWORK
            I have had a few questions about homework, hopefully I can clear some of those up!

You should be working on a Monthly Skills Sheet and a Monthly Reading Record,

Also Sight Words, there are 9 Kindergarten lists.  As soon as your child is ready to FLUENTLY pass off a list sign the paper (keep the words to keep practicing)  and return it to school.  I will pass of the list and send the next list home!!  We need 15 words by January!!

Next, Math Homework……I will be sending home math homework in packets.  If work comes home unfinished and it is “COLORED” , that is work they were unable to finish is class.  They will need your help to complete!!  The “GREY” math is homework and needs to be completed and handed in for credit!!

Kindergarten News

November 5-12

            WOW!!!   We are so busy in the learning of KINDERGARTEN!!   We are just moving right along.  It is so fun to watch each child grow and learn.   I am amazed at how well we are doing!!  This is a SMART class of children.  Thank you for your support at home and in our classroom. Thank you for showing your children that school and learning in important!!!

v November book orders are in your child’s homework folder if you are interested in ordering!!  This order will not be back before Thanksgiving and will be the last order I can promise that will be back before Christmas.   So, if you are thinking about books for Christmas there are some great ones this time!!!  Please have your orders in by Wednesday, November 13^th  THANK YOU!!! 

*    Remember that the October    Skills Sheet and October Reading Record are now due!!  You will find new November Calendars in your child’s homework folder this week!!

*   Picture Retakes will be November 15^th!!!
