   Kindergarten News
         May 24 -  SUMMER!
I can’t believe this is the last one!!  Thank you for a very special year.  I have enjoyed working with your child this year.  There are so many cute and memorable personalities, I will remember this class forever!!  We have accomplished a lot of wonderful things together this year!  I want to express my appreciation to you and your child for your friendship and support this year.  Have WONDERFUL, HOT and FUN summer vacation!!   A HUGE thank you for the many volunteer hours and work in our class by so many of you.   Your children are amazing!!   Thank you for sharing them with me!!   I am starting to miss them already.  Please drop by next year and say HI!!!
Things to Know.....  
            *         Thursday we will be watching an Award Movie from Mr. Burton!!
             Scrub our classroom clean & take everything home!!
(All students excused at 11:40!!)

         *       Awards Assembly @ 9:30 in the GYM   FRIDAY!!

            *     THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL IS 
                          Friday, MAY 24, 2013                 
               We will be out of school at 10:55!!  
                                          (Even Extended-Day)

            *     I will hand out PORTFOLIOS with the promotion cards,     
          report cards and final assessment scores, ON FRIDAY.  Your next years
          teacher will also be inside!! Be sure to not miss any of the fun
          these last few days!!  
         *                  PLEASE   HELP!!!!
              Kindergarten Registration is over, but please let your friends and family know that it is VERY important to let your next years Kindergarten students school  know that you are coming.  This will help us know who is coming and let us be prepared with enough teachers to keep class size down!
                                                                                                             
HOMEWORK                  THIS  SUMMER
                    1.  READ!!   READ!!!   READ!!!!    The public library has many books that our on our level.  Ask for the ROOKIE READERS!!  They are GREAT!!
               2.  Also brush up on your alphabet and sight words often.
              
3.  Last but no least!  Write in your journals about your summer adventures, new friends and all the new things your are learning each day!
