September 2-9
Well we are off to a great start!!  This week we will be chasing  the Gingerbread Man around the school to learn where places are at East Elementary and meet people who work here!!   We also are learning the rules of school and procedures to get things done.
We will be practicing our Lockdown drill and an Evacuation drill.  Also, this  week we learned how to do a fire drill and an earthquake drill,   Wow, we will be safety pros!
This week we are going to begin our study of the alphabet.  We will begin by talking about the letter “A”.  Learning what it looks like and how to write both the upper case and the lower case, and learning about the sounds it makes.
